Can't use Neon in Reaper?

Although the Neon manual and elsewhere claims it to be an AUV3 plugin, my newly-bought Reaper does not recognise it at all, not as an instrument, not as an effect. I've tried adding the Applications directory where Neon installed itself to my Reaper plugin path list but still nothing. I've searched the bug list here but see no references to this problem.

hey there... Neon was developed for iPad and is only sold on the iOS app store... I consider macOS compatibility a nice bonus, but it's not something I intended to explicitly support. I don't own a mac with Apple Silicon so I've never even been able to try it on a mac myself. However, it is my understanding that Reaper's AUV3 support is limited to audio effects and instruments and does not include support for AUV3s that are
midi processors
like Neon so this is likely the reason that it isn't showing up in the plugin list.J
